Terms of Service

Effective September 24, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you (and the company you sign up for) and Strickland & Co. (“we,” “us”), which operates JobMargin (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

The Service

JobMargin is software for contractors to track bids, jobs, crew time, expenses, and profit. We may improve, change, or add features over time. If we remove a major feature you rely on, we will give account owners reasonable notice.

Accounts

• You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information.
• The person who creates a company account is its owner and is responsible for the people they invite and for the company’s subscription.
• Keep your login secure and let us know right away if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

Subscriptions and billing

• Plans. Solo $49/month or $490/year, Crew $149/month or $1,490/year, and Shop $299/month or $2,990/year, in US dollars. Plans differ in crew seats and monthly AI reads, as described on our pricing page.
• Free trial. New companies get one 14-day free trial. A payment card is required to start. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and your card is charged for the first billing period.
• Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each monthly or yearly period, and your card on file is charged the then-current price until you cancel.
• Founder Deal. The first three companies to choose it get the Shop plan at $149/month for six months from the start of their subscription (the free trial counts toward the six months). After that, the subscription continues at the regular Shop price unless you change plans or cancel.
• Changing plans. You can switch plans at any time. Charges for mid-period changes are prorated by our payment processor.
• Price changes. We will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before any price increase takes effect on your subscription.
• Taxes. Prices do not include any sales tax that may apply.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, we will try again and let you know. If it still can’t be collected, access to the Service is paused until your payment method is updated. Your data is not deleted.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method on a recurring basis as described above.

Cancellation and refunds

• Cancel anytime in the app under Settings → Subscription → Manage billing, or by emailing us.
• During the free trial: cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged.
• After the trial: cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access until then, and you will not be charged again.
• Refunds: payments already made are not refunded for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will review it and refund any billing mistake.

Your data

You own the business data you put into JobMargin. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the Service to you. You can export it at any time. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the Service to break the law, upload content you don’t have the right to use, try to access other companies’ data, interfere with the Service, or resell it without our permission. We may suspend accounts that do.

AI features and your numbers

AI bid import, receipt scanning, and spreadsheet import extract information automatically and can make mistakes. Always review what they produce. JobMargin is a tool to help you track and estimate your business — it is not accounting, tax, or legal advice, and you are responsible for the decisions you make with it.

Availability

We work to keep the Service available and your data backed up, but we can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Service is provided “as is” to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may end or suspend access for violations of these terms or non-payment. When a subscription ends, you can still request your data or its deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify account owners by email or in the app before the changes take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA.
